AI Live Now
(upcoming)

AI Live Now (in partnership with CS is Elementary and Maryland Public Television) is an opportunity for schools to provide an introductory 30-minute webinar to students in grades 2-5. It provides hands-on experience and explains several of the big ideas of AI.  It is simple to implement by teachers.  In partnership with MSDE and MPT, we will work to bring this programming to all interested elementary schools in Maryland.

Family Code Nights

Family Code nights (in partnership with CS Is Elementary) are evening events where parents code with their children, experiencing firsthand that students can complete developmentally appropriate coding activities.  This is an opportunity to educate parents about computer science and its benefits for their children.

Robootics Night

Robotics Night (in partnership with the Digital Harbor Foundation) was a Halloween-themed evening that featured robotics activities for families, offering an educational experience for all. It was a space where Teachers, Parents, Partners, businesspeople, and Guests came together to witness the educational value of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for our youth. Community attendees had the chance to speak with the students, explore alongside them, and network with like-minded adults, all while gaining insights into the educational process.  Following the student activities, community attendees participated in a Town Hall session led by Tequity4All, where they discussed the future of computer science education.
